Pancreatic cancer has the 12th highest incidence rate and 4th highest mortality rate. Unfortunately, pancreatic cancer is usually diagnosed in late stages, making the 5-year (relative) survival rate only 8%¹. It was estimated that 1 in 71 men and 1 in 69 women would develop pancreatic cancer; and overall, 2400 men and 2300 women will be diagnosed and 2200 from each group will die from pancreatic cancer².
