Signal Disruption

Cancer of the brain and nervous system have the 15th highest incidence rate and 11th highest mortality rate1. The probability of developing and/or dying of this type of cancer over your lifetime is less than 1%. Brain and CNS (central nervous system) cancers have a greater prevalence in children and young adults, making up 19% and 7% of cancer cases among 0-14- and 15-29-year-olds, respectively2. The 5-year (relative) survival for brain/CNS cancers is 23%1.
